DAMONTEZ LS is a beautiful stallion of outstanding quality, bred from a well proven and prolific family that all jump.  Much admired for his lovely exterior, movement and trainability and noted for his 'European' appearance.  Currently been ridden and competed by Tina Fagan, DAMONTEZ LS delights crowds with his perfomances at liberty and undersaddle, he is also a winner and place getter in 7 year old and amateur show jumping classes up to 1.35m. 

DAMONTEZ LS is by the accoladed and versatile jumper SAM I AM LS; whom was originally trained and ridden by John Cottle. SAM I AM is a full brother to DIOMEDES LS, who many will remember as a Grand Prix Show Jumper with Phillip Steiner.  DIOMEDES LS won close to $15 000 in winnings before being sold to Australia.  Another full brother to SAM I AM LS is DELVIN LS; who is presently  competing at top level showjumping in the USA.

The first dam of DAMONTEZ LS is DUCHESS LS. DUCHESS LS show jumped successfully up to 1.25m and Novice Horse Trialed in only two seasons under saddle; which once again proves this bloodline to be bold, brave and talented.  DUCHESS LS is a full sister to DELTA DAWN LS, who has also produced a SAM I AM LS son, SUNSET SAM LS who currently stands at Longspring Sport Horses.

DAMONTEZ LS adds size, bone and quality to his offspring; in addition to trainable temperaments.  All are proving to be easy, sensible and very ridable.  When free jumped the the DAMONTEZ LS young stock are loose, natural athletes and jumpers.

Breeders: It is an important note to that DAMONTEZ LS’ is a double cross back to his legendary NZ Hanoverian grandsire DISTELFINK by DISKUS out of DOREEN by DUEKER. DISTELFINK was performance tested in Germany before been imported to New Zealand where he became one of the countries top sires before his death in 2004, he produced numerous domestic and international performers. Some of these include jumping sensations: JEEP SUPERMOTH, NRM FALCON, DUTY FREE, DEALER, DIOMEDES and world class eventers: NRM DENVER, GV BRAVEHEART, DANZAR…….. DISTELFINK was not only successful at producing performers but also his broodmare daughters are now highly sort after in NZ by breeders for producing jumping and dressage horses!

DISTELFINK was by DISKUS the only stallion by DOMSPATZ to go into the services of the Celle state stud and produced a number of first class show jumpers including DENIZEN ridden by Tim Grubb, DOREEN ridden by Tjark Nagel and World Cup winner in 1987 THE NATURAL ridden by Katherine Burdsall. DOMSPATZ like his son DISKUS was an outstanding sire of jumpers also and both sires are highly regarded in mare lines today. As late as 1981, on the official German FN figures of progeny winnings in the sport, DOMSPATZ made it to 8th place in a very illustrious top ten. (1. Gotthard, 2.
